Thank GOD it's Friday!!!!

I had quite an eventful week...

I attended a runway show for Nine West. Apparently the chain is taking a book from the success that H&M has enjoyed through designer collaborations. Nine West has asked three designers: Vivienne Westwood, Tharoon and Sophia Kokosalaki to each design a line of accessories (and a few clothing items) to be sold at the store. How exciting! Now the everyone can spot designer footwear, handbags, gloves, etc for an affordable price.... YEA RIGHT!

After looking at the price list for the semi-cute selection that the designers churned out, I was flabbergasted! $425 for a pair of boots?????? Sure, they are cute and would look lovely on these beautiful mocha legs of mine...BUT there is no way I'm dropping that kind of money at NINE WEST! I can take my $425 right to Bergdorf's and (almost) buy a pair of Manolos or Choos for the same price. Let's face it, sure the shoes are wonderfully designed but they are still made at the Nine West factory....Whereas I could spend the same amount for a shoe from Italy.

Can't fool me Nine West, but thanks for the great show, food and music by DJ AM!
